MediaTech Hub Conference 2020: Save the Date

On November 11-12, 2020, MTH Conference explores the potential and practices of MediaTech in the context of business and entertainment.

More than ever before, the last few months have shown us what digital video and audio technologies have to offer for re-adjusting to a "new normal". The MediaTech Hub Conference has long been dedicated to the question of how digital audio and video technologies can shape and improve our lives and our work.
This year #mthcon itself is using media technology to create an interactive, multifaceted conference experience: On November 11-12, 2020, MTH Conference will for the first time take place in a hybrid format – LIVE in Babelsberg Studios and ONLINE on a bespoke digital event platform.

More than 50 speakers and Davos visiting Babelsberg

On two packed conference days more than fifty international speakers will explore the potential and challenges of media technologies: From AI for forecasting, editing and film production, over virtual manufacturing and micro mobility in smart cities to digitally managed treatment of patients. The conference will be opened on November 11 by the World Economic Forum: Murat Sönmez, Director of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, will speak about the special role of MediaTech for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and show how media technologies are changing the way we work.

MediaTech in entertainment

On our Entertainment stage, everything will revolve around the role of media technologies in film, television and broadcasting. How can cutting-edge LED technology bring even more impressive images to the screen? What are the next stages in the battle of Europe's streaming landscape? Will AI successfully predict the preferences of cinema lovers? And how can we co-create the best future possible for the entertainment industry? Participants can look forward to contributions by top-level speakers such as Prof. Sarah Atkinson (Green Spark Group), Kemal Görgülü (arte), Klaus Goldhammer (Goldmedia Group), Tobias Queisser (Cinelytic), and many more.

Beyond the screen: MediaTech in business

Initially developed for cinema and television, media technology has by now long evolved beyond the screen. Today, MediaTech is every kind of video- or audio-related technology and business in a digital world. Whether it is artificial intelligence, data visualisation, speech recognition or digital engineering – MediaTech helps people and businesses in all industries to make their work even better. The industry stage will therefore focus on the use of MediaTech for industry, mobility, health and virtual communication. Furthermore, best practice examples and workshops, the #mthcon Start-up Pitch Arena and various networking formats will offer plenty opportunity to experience innovative business models and technologies hands-on.
